BPT is currently the only company in South Africa with SANAS approval to perform Body Armour, Structural Armour and Vehicle Armour testing on its own Ballistic Testing Laboratory, manned by experienced personnel, ranging from Handgun to Rifle Protection Level.
BPT has the knowledge, experience and equipment to perform Scientific Ballistic Testing to International standards such as EN 1023 and STANAG 4569. Body Armour Testing is also performed, based on the South African SANS 1058:2007 standard, which is quite similar to the NIJ 0101 Standard.
